History was made last night in Luanda as Egypt became the first country to win the Africa Cup of Nations for the seventh time and the first country to raise the cup three times in a row.

Some 48,000 people crammed into the Luanda stadium to witness the momentous second when the first and only goal was scored.

Piers Edwards was next to one emotional Egyptian who couldn't contain his feelings..
