This week's instalment of the 13-part series is called 'Father's Day' and sees the Doctor and his companion Rose take a trip in the TARDIS back to 1987,and the day Rose's father was killed in a car accident. Will Rose be able to resist altering the course of history by saving his life? The episode was penned by writer Paul Cornell who hails from Calstone in Wiltshire. His impressive television writing credits include Holby City, Casualty and his own children's television series - Wavelength. Paul is also a Doctor Who fan who has written numerous well-received Who books, audio plays and even an animated story which was broadcast on the official Doctor Who website. But it has been the fulfillment of Paul's lifetime ambition to write an episode of the series for televison, and it looks set to be one of the scariest in the show's history! BBC Radio Swindon and Wiltshire's Afternoon Show presenter Mark Seaman recently chatted to Paul about his work, what viewers can expect from the episode and what he thinks of the show's recent resurgence in popularity.
