What is CBeebies Parenting?
The CBeebies Parenting initiative supports parents and carers to help develop their little ones’ language and communication skills in the home learning environment.
Based on extensive academic research, CBeebies Parenting has a simple message at its heart - ‘Talk to your baby from pregnancy - we can show you how and why.’
What can you find on the CBeebies Parenting website?
The website features hundreds of fun, simple activities organised by age, showing families how to support their children’s language development.
There's also child development content showing parents and carers why supporting language learning is important.
And we have plenty of tips and advice from health visitors, speech and language experts, healthcare professionals and early years practitioners covering a wide range of parenting topics.
Free training from CBeebies Parenting
This free one-hour virtual session will reveal everything you need to know about CBeebies Parenting to feel confident about recommending this service to the families that you work with.
The session will explain CBeebies Parenting's approach, show you easily shareable content on the website and highlight the key language techniques and resources that you'll want to share.
CBeebies Parenting Champions Training is accessible and relevant for those working as - or studying to become - early years practitioners or healthcare professionals.
