OH MY LORDY! that was the 3rd time i've seen kings of leon now and it was by far their best set! i was right at the front too so i got to see caleb up nice and close! he is sooooo gorgeous! haha! i listen to their songs all the time and have been a fan right from the beginning! definately my favourite band. every song is brilliant on cd or live and T in the Park proved that!

LONG LIVE THE MIGHTY KINGS ! I have been a fan of the Kings since the start and have now seen the Kings of Leon 8 times and they just getting better and better if that is possible. No one beats them for their sheer talent, energy, musicianship, songwriting and stage presence. I didnt think anything could match their headline slot at Glastonbury 2008, which will remain one of the highlights of my life and a truly HAPPY MOMENT in my life, but their T in the Park slot was amazing and left me feeling alive and desperate for more - roll on their tour at the end of the year !!!!!

Well Said Anna T! KOL steal the show at every festival, they were mesmerising on tour in 07 and have given fans 3 amazing albums! They're deffo the best Live Act on the planet! Can't wait for the new stuff! Liten up BBC 'we want more KOL'.

KOL were absolutely amazing again!!!! I saw them at TITP last year and Aberdeen in december and again at this years TITP - they are pure brilliance!!! If you've never seen them live get out there and do it, you'll never forget it they are the est live band ever!! Caleb has the most unique voice ever.... whole band are phenomenal, especialy Jared (the bass player - i love him!) If you havent heard them before go out and buy all 3 albums, youth and young manhood, aha shake heartbreak and because of the times...you'll be hooked just like everyone else!! THANKS KINGS OF LEON FOR MAKING T IN THE PARK THE BEST FESTIVAL EVER - AGAIN!!! lots of love terri and justine xxxxxxx

Thank goodness I'm not the only person thinking this - the BBC have shot themselves in the foot this year.... quality act like KOL and we have to listen to trumpets like the Hoosiers waffling nonsense while Edith tells us everything is AMAZIN' and yet great bands are playing live and we don't get to see any of it. And to add insult to injury BBC2 and BBC3 showed the SAME THING for about an hour......... surely a trick missed there. Couldn't we have seen more live music, for a decent period of time, instead of occasional live songs here and there if we're lucky.....?

this was brilliant, there were lados of people jumping over the back barrier to get into the main section of the main stage, i was lucky enough to get to see it from the front section at the main stage

Kings of leon was amazing this year, out did themselves again, bit disappointed in the lack of songs being shown on bbc. their set was amazing they should be given all the time and credit they deserve!

a great sample of a phenomenal set, slightly gutted that Knocked Up wasn't shown; I was proper at the front for that one!just one part of a truly awesome final night at the Main Stage.

Couldn't agree more with JC. Why not let the music do the talking? There's enough to just show live bands non-stop instead of 'filling in' with what seems like a load of hyperactive children on too many smarties. Save it for the radio.

Totally agree JC. But the BBC even let us down over Glastonbury. Both Jay-Z and Verve headline sets were shown live ... but not the KoL - was shown fairly late on the BBC, and it wasn't the whole set, and I think they only cut live to the encore. Not good enough me thinks.

Was really looking forward to seeing this set, yet the BBC only showed 5 or 6 songs on tv and now only 30 seconds worth of the set on this website?? What's that all about?? I thought the whole point of the BBC coverage was so that people who didn't get to go to the festival got to see it on tv!

i totaly agree with jc the bbc dont know class if it hit them in the face! KOL are clearly at the top of the world right now and should off had more air time but no they would rather talk over the sheer class that is Kings of Leon!

I was looking forward to watching this. But as usual the BBC ruin it. Showing just six songs, all of which were shown when Glastonbury was on, why? They waste time talking to half-wits like the Hoosiers and have awful music with Zutons and Ting Tings performing live. Why show the Charlatans?...They were rubbish 5 years ago. Seem to think that we want to hear Bowman and all those lot...no, we tune in to watch live performances from the bands we love, especially when the show is T in the Park: Amy Winehouse and Kings of Leon. Now I would want to see Winehouse and Kings if this was the case. But no, we have Panic at the Disco, Charlatans, Ting Tings etc. Christ, BBC are supposed to be good at this.

The KIngs are incredible. I did not know of them until beloved Glastonbury this year. Even then, it was only because the BBC, kept showing their amazing performance for days afterwards. Thank you Beeb, thank you God for the KINGS. No-one can touch them for raw energy, musicianship, charisma, songwriting, and gorgeousness! ( especially Caleb). No one else can match them, even the best, pale in comparison. I now view my time as before Kings - barren, now I feel alive. I bought all three albums, which are brilliant, fantastic, but realise that their magnificence is in playing LIVE. THEN THEY ARE BREATHTAKING & AWESOME. KINGS OF LEON, YOU ARE MAGIC. THE WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE FOR SHARING YOU WITH US LUCKY AND VERY GRATEFUL SUBJECTS. NEVER ABDICATE! LOVE AND LOYALTY ANNA. (LIVERPOOL)
