Jeff Mills

Jeff Mills (born 18 June 1963 in Detroit, Michigan U.S.A.) is an influential Techno DJ and producer from Detroit. Credited with laying the foundations for the highly influential Detroit Techno collective, Underground Resistance, alongside 'Mad' Mike Banks, a former Parliament bass player. Mills would never leave UR officially, but later on he still went his own way. He moved to New York and after a short stay in Berlin (Tresor) ended up in Chicago. There in 1992, with fellow Detroit native Robert Hood, he set up his most important record label, Axis, aiming for a simpler more minimal sound than most of the techno being produced in those years. Later sub-labels were announced - Purposemaker, Tomorrow, and 6277. His relentless mixing style spawned dozens of imitators in the 90s techno scene...

i agree missing t in the park was a huge let down, but i think some in the crowd were complete tubes, throwing cups and stuff at Carl Craig, very disappointing, maybe Carl Gave him a shout about that and he thought against it, very disrespectful to Carl, he put on a good set but some tools from the bike shed ruined it, i heard that he wont do t in the park again because of it :(

What is the real answer to the no show from Mr jeff mills,2nd time i have been to see him and he aint showed up, cant understand why someone with a private plane can miss a flight. Still a legend but hugely disapointed.

I would of says amazing, but he never turned up at tinthepark, because he missed his flight bummer :(
