No Chance! The atmosphere was amazing and it sounded brill!

Pamela
Not many people can still merit so much adoration after 20 years in the business-Ian is the man!

frayno
Easily the best at t this year!! the tent was rammed one hell of a vibe going on,dont get that at many (if any) shows ive seen. Heard from a little bird that his new album is gonna have aziz and mani on it..... wow.

john
can he dance ? cause he cant sing, should have stayed at home. surely he could get lessons

Dunny
Great Stuff All Hail King Monkey Has Landed!!

mark
embarrassing performance. his singing is not always that bad. he sounded off his face/couldn't be bothered. stop making excuses for him - he can & should do better. he doesn't play all the instruments when he records - and rarely any when he performs, all he has to do is sing. don't care how good a songwriter he is (although FEAR is just a schoolboy exercise in acronym invention - how about Free Everyone And Retire). this man was a crucial part of a seminal band but he'd struggle to get a record deal without the priviliges that his fame grants him.

IB was incredible at titp...the bbc recording and sound quaity does not does his set justice... SHAME ON YOU BBC

Tom Green
Appalling vocals, but he's always sang like that live.

Gill, Dundee
Total legend, who cares if he's not in tune. F-E-A-R thought I was gonna burst!!! Only downside, could have done with a few more Roses songs. Love you I.B.and lots of hot men in attendance too. Mmmmm!

swidd
Superb IB, great pipes Rod. What star lets a fan open for him eh?? Only IB. TSR were great but this is Ian's day and if nobody like him then the tent would've been empty..he fills venues everywhere cos he is a LEGEND. Peace

Geo
Singing's a bit off but if you saw Primal scream Bobby gillespie ain't Marvin Gaye Ethier, plus liam gallagher since he started singing through his nose instead of his mouth ain't that good live anymore, but Ian's more clued up, cooler, and down to earth than both of them put together.

For me that was 1 of King Monkeys best performances and his songwriting is genuis and the man himself a LEGEND,A God to many and an Insperation to all.Long Live King Monkey!

All The People That Are Dissing Ian, Use Are All Wrong, He Is The Best Out There, Who Is There That Can Write Better Lyrics Than Ian? He Can Do It All On Stage, The Best There Is! Thats A FACT!!!!

Jamie

from the waterfrount, through the roses to his ample solo albums ian brown has continued to create new sounds and movements, his lyrics are ledgendary.

Ginger
Higg, not that young, I had the priveledge to see The Roses live and were terrible due to Ian Brown! JSquire/Mani etc played extra long instrumentals at the end of each song just to stop him from singing!!!

JohnOasis
mega gig, definitely the best at T for me. anyone remember the exact setlist?

manticore
he cant sing.that was a dreadful performance.the songs are rubbish as well.why is he popular?

Matty
Ian might not be a the same level vocaly as he was in the roses but he is still one of the best out there

Ian Brown’s music inspires generation after generation, he is a rough diamond with a heart of gold. Cracking set by Ian and the band last night, long may he continue to grace us with his presence.

To many people expect IB to be the Stone Roses and dont guive him the credit for his own solo career.
