England World Cup winner Richard Hill has said that Saracens unbeaten start to the season is something they should be proud of.
He told BBC Three Counties Radio: "It's been a great start to Saracens' season.
"To end phase one of the Premiership with five wins from five matches is as good as it gets.
"That's not to say that the players are resting on their laurels, they're going into a different focus what with playing Rovigo at the weekend."
"It is important in terms of atmosphere at the club and the confidence that's gained from winning that we approach the game in the same manner to get this next stage of competition off to a good start."
Since hanging up his boots, Hill has been kept busy with off-field roles within the club.
He explained: "I have a split role at Saracens. I mentor a group of ten players, the majority of which are aged 16 to 21, and hopefully have a very positive influence on their development.
"I also have a role within the commercial department which is based around the experience of Saracens. On match days I'm involved around some of the corporate areas and speaking, as well as some of the day-to-day activities that we run."
On Sunday, along with Andy Farrell, Hill will be in St Albans to start the Hertfordshire 10KM run which Saracens are supporting.
