Tamworth have signed Oxford United midfielder Paul Powell as they look for their first point in the Nationwide Conference. Powell has signed for a month with the option of a longer stay and is set to make his Lambs debut against Margate on Saturday.
The 25-year-old left-sided player started over 150 games for Oxford before being released at the end of last season.
Tamworth boss Darron Gee is also on the look-out for a new striker and hopes to make a further signing before Saturday's game.
