A potential investor in Notts County claims he was not treated seriously by the Magpies and says he now wants to take over Mansfield Town.

Colin Hancock originally called BBC Radio Nottingham's football phone-in to make public his wish to invest a seven figure sum in the Meadow Lane club.

Hancock said: "I did not feel that my interest was taken seriously and so I withdrew my interest."

County chairman John Armstrong-Holmes has refuted Hancock's claim.
