Mansfield Town is to be sold to a trio of local businessmen, bringing controversial owner Keith Haslam's 15-year spell in charge to an end.
Andy Perry, Andy Saunders and Steve Middleton have businesses in the town and are long-standing supporters.
Terms of the deal will be released on Friday, but solicitors acting for the consortium confirmed to BBC Radio Nottingham that a sale had been agreed.
A statement read: "We have a legally binding agreement to buy the club."

Andy Saunders told BBC Radio Nottingham: "It's a boyhood ambition having followed the Stags since 1966.
"There's a lot of hard work to do but I'm sure we can pull it off. We want to make the club community based and we want to see smiles on faces."
