Cornish Pirates have re-signed forward Hugh Bokenham from Gloucester for next season.

The 24-year-old Australian left the Champ club for the Prem side last summer.

He went on to make eight appearances for the Cherry and Whites in all competitions before joining Champ side Worcester on loan in March.

Bokenham, who is former Australia youth international, spent time at Super Rugby side Waratahs before moving to the Mennaye in 2023.

"Hugh was an incredible performer for us in his first spell," Cornish Pirates joint-head coach Alan Paver told the club website, external.

"His set piece is impressive and has developed as a line-out caller. His talent is clear to see and he is also a really good man off it, who built up a lot of friendships in his first spell."
