St Helens have signed prop forward Daniel Suluka-Fifita on a two-and-a-half-year deal from NRL side Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs.
Suleka-Fifita has signed immediately and will link up with Paul Rowley's squad in the next few days.
The 26-year-old has played 46 games in Australia's premier competition since his debut in 2020, including 11 for the Bulldogs.
With captain and fellow prop Matty Lees out for the rest of the season, Suluka-Fifita will help to plug that gap in the front row.
"After a difficult run with injuries has stretched the squad this season, it's great to bring in a player of Daniel's quality and character," said, external head coach Rowley.
St Helens slipped from first to third in Super League over the weekend following their defeat at Castleford Tigers.
