Sarah Boswell has stepped down as chief executive officer of Wales Netball and Netball Super League (NSL) side Dragons.
Boswell, whose previous roles included Welsh National Opera, succeeded Vicki Sutton, who stood down as chief executive at the end of 2024.
During her two years as chief executive Boswell has begun the implementation of Wales Netball's Ymladd 2030 strategy, aimed at developing the game from grassroots to elite level.
In the past year Dragons enjoyed their best NSL finish since 2014 - fifth - however, Welsh Feathers finished a disappointing 10th at the summer's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and surprisingly missed out on qualification for the 2027 World Cup last month.
Wales Netball say Boswell leaves "to pursue new opportunities outside the organisation".
"Leading Wales Netball and the Dragons has been a privilege," she said.
"I am proud of what we have achieved together and grateful to everyone who has been part of that. I wish both organisations and the netball community in Wales every success and look forward to what comes next."
Helen Williams, chair of Wales Netball said: "We thank Sarah for the contribution she has made to Wales Netball and the LexisNexis Risk Solutions Dragons over the past two years and wish her well in her next chapter.
"Our Ymladd 2030 strategy is now well established and we remain focused and committed to delivering against its ambitions.
"Our senior leadership team and boards contribute a breadth of skills and experience that will continue to provide strong leadership as we move into the next phase of our development."
Wales Netball recently appointed Dragons head coach Reinga Bloxham as interim Welsh Feathers head coach following the departure of Emily Handyside at the conclusion of the Commonwealth tournament in July.
