Results like this galvanise a side.

When you look at the players coming back, yes Maddison got injured and he'll be a question mark over the next few weeks, but players coming back, momentum coming back - you feel, and say it quietly, Tottenham might just be coming back.

  2. 'We are here to change the club's mentality'published at 19:35 BST

A dream afternoon for Tottenham here at Stamford Bridge. They looked controlled, looked at ease, they looked like they were comfortably on the ball.

But the game was drifting towards nothing, we couldn't see where it was going to go but the Cole Palmer incident with Fernandes sparked it in to life.

  5. 'Tottenham outplayed Chelsea'published at 19:28 BST

    FT: Chelsea 0-2 Tottenham

    Gary Neville
Former Manchester United defender on Sky Sports

Tottenham outplayed Chelsea, Spurs were brilliant.

None of us expected that today, after 10, 15 mins their confidence grew. James Maddison was part of that.

Spurs just dominated especially in midfield where they've invested so heavily, that felt like Robert De Zerbi's project coming to life.

    A bad day for Chelsea.

Chelsea dug themselves into this hole with team selection and stupidity. However silly Palmer was, why did no one pick up on Van de Ven and his awful challenge. That was a red card more so than anything I’ve seen given recently.

Rogers move to Chelsea and immediately inherits the temperament problem that all Chelsea players seem to have?

    Eli, Manchester

This is the worst performance I’ve seen from any PL team this season. Absolutely shocking.

The oles are now coming out from the Tottenham fans for every touch of the ball by their players.

  12. Palmer red card 'correct call'published at 19:21 BST

    Chelsea 0-2 Tottenham

    Darren Cann
Former Premier League assistant referee to BBC Sport

Cole Palmer, already on a yellow card, makes a late challenge on Conor Gallagher. Elite referee Chris Kavanagh, one of the most experienced officials in the country, had no option but to show a second yellow card to Palmer. Kavanagh, making his 200th Premier League appearance today, made the correct call and dismissed Palmer from the field of play accordingly.

All that could make this even better for Tottenham is Dejan Kulusevski getting a goal. He's into the box on the right but his cross is blocked.

  14. 'Ludicrous from Rogers'published at 19:19 BST

    Chelsea 0-2 Tottenham

    Gary Neville
Former Manchester United defender on Sky Sports

I think that's a red that. He's hit him with the ball nowhere near him.

A ludicrous challenge from Morgan Rogers.

Chelsea have lost it, Xabi Alonso just needs to get them off the pitch.

The second half has been very, very flat from Chelsea and Spurs have taken full advantage.

  16. 'Spurs have battered Chelsea in midfield'published at 19:19 BST

    Chelsea 0-2 Tottenham

    Gary Neville
Former Manchester United defender on Sky Sports

Tottenham have battered Chelsea in midfield.

They've not been able to get anywhere near the ball, Neto, Caicedo, Henderson and Hato.

Maddison, Kudus and Tel have bossed the game.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 19:18 BST

    Chelsea 0-2 Tottenham

Conor Gallagher is fouled again, this time by Morgan Rogers and the Chelsea forward is the latest player to go in the book.

Some Chelsea fans are leaving as seven minutes of injury time are shown.

  18. 'Tottenham fans deserve this'published at 19:18 BST

    Chelsea 0-2 Tottenham

    Gary Neville
Former Manchester United defender on Sky Sports

I take everything back I said about Mathys Tel.

They've had some tough times those Tottenham fans, and they deserve this.

Tel finally drives at people and hits it with purpose, what a moment for his career.

They'll be bouncing tonight back to the Tottenham Stadium.

  19. Spurs 'in dreamland'published at 19:17 BST

    Chelsea 0-2 Tottenham

    Rob Green
Former Premier League goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live at Stamford Bridge

It's a collector's item for Tottenham fans - they've waited such a long time. An away win at Stamford Bridge sealed by Tel.

He picks the ball up in his own half and sets off, rides one challenge, rides another challenge, gets 25 yards out and thinks 'I can write my name in history books for Spurs'.

It's not the cleanest strikes but it's an accurate strike and they are in dreamland.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 19:16 BST

    Chelsea 0-2 Tottenham

That't also it for Mathys Tel as he is replaced by Ben Davies. Dejan Kulusevski is also on for Mohammed Kudus.

Danny Welbeck has been sent on for Chelsea, replacing Pedro Neto, but it feels too little too late for the hosts.
