Oldham bring in defender Delaney

Ryan Delaney has had spells with nine different clubs in the EFL

Oldham Athletic have signed defender Ryan Delaney on a one-year deal.

The 29-year-old Irishman was a free agent after being released by Swindon earlier this summer.

He ended last season on loan with Newport County and scored once in 17 appearances to help them avoid relegation from League Two.

"I've been fortunate to gain a lot of experience over the years, playing in the EFL and coming through different situations at different clubs," he told the club website.
