Portsmouth have signed forward Luke Brooke-Smith from New Zealand side Wellington Phoenix for an undisclosed fee.

The 18-year-old has agreed a four-year deal at Fratton Park.

"He's a quick, direct and aggressive winger, who is comfortable on both sides of the pitch and has a lot of experience of senior football for his age," said head coach John Mousinho, external.

"I'm looking forward to see him continue his impressive development here at Fratton Park over the next few years."

Brooke-Smith is a former BMX national age-grade champion in his home country and most recently represented New Zealand at the Under-20 World Cup.

He made his international debut for the senior side - his only cap so far - during a friendly against Australia in 2025.
