Torquay United have made former Worthing striker Callum Morton their first summer signing.
The 26-year-old was released by the National League South champions this month and returns to the club where he started his career.
Torquay-born Morton was a youth team player at the Gulls before the club shut their academy in 2015.
He went on to academy stints at Yeovil Town and West Bromwich Albion as he gained loan experience in the English Football League (EFL) with the likes of Northampton Town, Lincoln City, Fleetwood Town and Peterborough United.
He made a permanent move to Fleetwood Town in the summer of 2022 before joining Salford City the following January.
He signed for Bristol Rovers in the autumn of 2024 before moving to Worthing at the start of this season and has scored 34 goals in 173 career games across the EFL and National League.
