Charlton sign Forest defender Bindon on loan

Charlton Athletic have signed defender Tyler Bindon on a season-long loan from Premier League Nottingham Forest.
The 21-year-old joined Forest from Reading for an undisclosed fee in February 2025 but is yet to make a first-team appearance for them.
The New Zealand international spent last season on loan with Charlton's Championship rivals Sheffield United, for whom he made 25 appearances, scoring one goal.
Bindon played in all three of the Kiwis' World Cup group-stage matches during the summer tournament as they failed to reach the knockout stage.
"Obviously we had to be reactive with certain injuries that we had, but Tyler is a player that I've known for a long, long time and have tried to sign," Addicks boss Nathan Jones told the club website. , external
"He's a player that will add to us and improve our squad, so we're looking forward to working with him."
Charlton are the only side in the Championship with a 100% record from their opening three games, and Bindon could make his debut when they visit West Brom on Wednesday, 2 September (19:45 BST).
