Gilligham sign striker Sillah on season-long loan

Gillingham have signed striker Lamin Sillah on a season-long loan from Nottingham Forest.

The 20-year-old, who signed for Forest last summer on a three-year deal from Olympiacos, will be available for the Gills' home game against Northampton Town on Saturday.

Sillah, a Gambian U20 international, started his career at Steve Biko FC in his home country before moving to Greece in 2024. He scored nine times in 17 games in the U19 Super League before leaving for the City Ground.

"I feel it's the right time for me to go on loan, and Nottingham Forest have been really supportive," Sillah told the club website., external "I'm quick and I will give everything I have. I can't wait, I feel great about it."
