Barnet have completed the loan signing of striker Damola Ajayi from Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan deal.

Ajayi, 20, has been in Spurs' academy set-up since 2022 having joined from Bromley as a teenager. He has made a single senior appearance for Tottenham's first team, scoring on his debut in a 3-0 win over Elfsborg in the Europa League in January 2025.

Later that year, Ajayi was an unused substitute as Spurs claimed the Europa League title at the expense of Manchester United, before he was loaned to Doncaster Rovers for the first half of last season.

The attacker scored twice in 19 appearances before returning to Bromley in January, who he helped to secure the League Two title in the spring.

Now, Ajayi is back out on loan again and back in the fourth tier with Barnet, who drew 1-1 at Exeter City on Tuesday night as deadline day drew to a close.

Bees manager Dean Brennan said: "Damola is a really exciting young player who gives us pace, energy and versatility at the top end of the pitch.

"He has been developed within an excellent academy at Tottenham and has already gained valuable experience in the EFL.

"We believe there is a lot more to come from him and we are delighted that he has chosen Barnet for the next stage of his career."

Ajayi becomes the 13th signing of Barnet's summer.
