Clarke signs new Swindon contract until 2027

Swindon midfielder Ollie Clarke has signed a new one-year contract at the Nigel Eady County Ground.
Clarke, 33, scored eight goals in 36 appearances for the Robins this season and has been a regular since joining from Mansfield in 2024.
Manager Ian Holloway praised Clarke, saying he "gives everything" for the club.
"Ollie is exactly the sort of character you want around your football club," Holloway told the club website., external
"He gives everything every single day, drives standards within the group, and his experience is incredibly important for us both on and off the pitch.
"His commitment to the club has been first-class since I came in. I'm delighted we'll have him with us moving forward because players like Ollie are vital to what we're trying to build here at Swindon Town."
Clarke began his career at Bristol Rovers, before leaving after more than a decade in 2020.
