Sheffield Wednesday have signed goalkeeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer on a one-year deal and Hull City striker Mason Burstow on a season-long loan deal.

Maynard-Brewer, 27, was a free agent after leaving Dundee United earlier this summer.

Burstow, 22, spent last season on loan in League One with Bolton and scored 12 goals in 53 appearances as they won promotion to the Championship.

"After a breakout season last year with Bolton Wanderers, Mason is a terrific signing for us," sporting director Simon Wilson told the club website, external.

Maynard-Brewer, who made 70 league appearances for Charlton before moving to Dundee United in January, is the second goalkeeper to join the Owls in as many days after Connal Trueman signed on Thursday.
