Gills sign King from Cardiff and Orient's Obiero

Gillingham have signed midfielder Eli King from Cardiff City for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old is a product of Cardiff's academy, making 10 senior appearances, and he has had loan spells at Stevenage, Ross County, Morecambe and Crewe.
The Gills have also signed midfielder Zech Obiero, 21, on a season-long loan from Leyton Orient.
King made his senior debut in October 2021 in a Championship fixture at home to Middlesbrough.
Speaking to the club website, he said, external: "It's been a whirlwind today, deadline day always is. I trained this morning and then got straight into my car to Chesterfield!
"I've made lots of appearances now; as a player I can play as a six or an eight - I like to get on the ball and get around the pitch and pass through the lines."
