Scott-Morriss red card overturned after Oldham appeal

Oldham Athletic defender Gus Scott-Morriss will be available for their next three matches after the Football Association overturned his red card against Colchester United.
Scott-Morriss was sent off for serious foul play in first-half stoppage time during Saturday's 2-1 League Two away defeat.
Oldham were leading 1-0 at the time of his dismissal following a challenge on Ellis Iandolo.
Latics boss Micky Mellon initially said the club would not appeal against the decision, but Oldham changed their stance after reviewing footage of the incident.

"Gus Scott-Morriss will be available for Oldham Athletic's next three matches after a successful appeal of wrongful dismissal," the FA said.
The defender will now be available for Saturday's League Two game against Swindon Town at Boundary Park.
