Morecambe release 18 players following relegation

Morecambe have released 18 players following their relegation from the National League.
The Shrimps were relegated to the National League North having finished 22nd in 2025-26, their second relegation in as many seasons.
Terrell Agyemang, Jamal Blackman, Ma'kel Campbell, Raheem Conte, Harlee Dean, Joshua Eppiah, Ludwig Francillette, Kyle Jameson, Archie Mair, Admiral Muskwe, Joe Nuttall, Daniel Ogwuru, Harry Panayiotou, Mohammed Sangare, Alie Sesay, Yann Songo'o, George Thomas and Ben Tollitt are all set to leave at the end of their contracts.
Miguel Azeez, Lennon Dobson and Liam Hogan are under contract for next season, while the club have opted to extend Adam Fairclough and Alfie Scales' contracts.
