Blackpool have re-signed Luton Town striker Jerry Yates on a season-long loan deal and brought in defender Josh Earl from Barnsley for an undisclosed fee.
Yates, 29, previously scored 42 goals in 124 league appearances for the Tangerines between 2020 and 2023.
He joined Luton from Swansea City last August but scored just twice in 22 League One appearances before moving to Sheffield Wednesday on loan for the second half of the campaign.
Earl, 27, has signed a three-year deal at Bloomfield Road, with a club option of a further year, having spent the previous two-and-a-half seasons at Blackpool's League One rivals, Barnsley.
"I'm really happy to have added Josh to our defensive ranks before next week's deadline," Blackpool boss Ian Evatt told the club's website., external
"His experience and leadership skills alongside his undoubted quality made him a key target for us, so we are delighted to have got the deal over the line."
Both players could feature for Evatt's side in Saturday's home game against Peterborough United.
