Guernsey FC to make Women's FA Cup debut

Guernsey FC will appear in the Women's FA Cup for the first time ever this season.

The club has confirmed that they have been accepted into the competition and await their opponents in the preliminary round which will be held on the weekend of 22-23 August.

The news comes after fellow Channel Island side Jersey Bulls Women were accepted into the competition on Friday.

Guernsey FC Women finished seventh in the Southern Region Women's Football League Division One South last season.
