Gossip: Goalkeeper Bursik set for Pompey exit

Portsmouth are ready to offload goalkeeper Josef Bursik as he nears a return to fitness. The 26-year-old made 11 appearances for Pompey last season but has not played since being injured against Stoke in April. (The News)

Portsmouth have also reportedly joined the race to sign Liverpool defender Luke Chambers. QPR and Blackburn Rovers are two other Championship sides interested in taking the 22-year-old on loan. (The Athletic - subscription required)
