Walsall have signed full-back James Furlong on a one-year contract to make him their 14th signing this summer.
The 24-year-old most recently played for NK Maribor after leaving Hull City to sign a short-term deal with the Slovenian top-flight side in February.
Furlong began his career playing in his home country of Ireland before joining Brighton & Hove Albion's academy in 2019, going on to play one EFL Cup game for the Seagulls before a loan spell with Motherwell.
He joined Hull City in September 2023 and made one appearance for the Tigers before joining AFC Wimbledon on loan for the 2024-25 season, helping them to promotion via the League Two play-offs.
