Hampshire captain Adams signs new deal to 2028

Hampshire women's captain Georgia Adams has signed a new two-year deal that will keep her at the Utilita Bowl until 2028.
The 32-year-old started playing for the Southern Vipers in 2016, winning six trophies.
Adams has also won The Hundred with Oval Invincibles, Southern Brave, and Trent Rockets, and Australia's WBBL with Adelaide Strikers in 2023.
"I absolutely love playing my cricket at Hampshire and Utilita Bowl," Adams said., external "This club is practically my home.
"As a club we have a great record in both formats of the game, we also have a reputation of developing players for both club and country.
"I'm delighted I can continue my career with Hampshire as we look to reach another 50-over final on our home ground come September."
Hampshire are currently second in the Women's One-Day Cup table, with eight wins from 11 groups games so far.
They face Surrey at Guildford in their next game on Wednesday (10.30 BST start).
