Porter makes permanent Glamorgan move

Off-spinner Gemma Porter has joined Glamorgan on a permanent basis after playing the 2025 season on loan from Warwickshire.

The 23-year-old was the leading wicket-taker in the One Day Cup as Glamorgan finished runners-up.

She featured in almost every game throughout the summer, usually as an opening bowler.

Porter, previously a professional with the Bears, is hoping to regain that status next season with Glamorgan, as they will be promoted to Tier One.

In the meantime she is employed in the Welsh county's ticket office after moving to Cardiff.
