Warwickshire have posted a 61% growth in income during 2025 in the club's latest financial report.

Revenue rose to £40.4m last year, up £15.3m on 2024's return of £25.1m, in a period described by the Bears as one of "significant growth, structural change and continued investment in the club's long-term future".

Expenditure also increased from £16.5m to £28.5m, up 58%, leaving a pre-tax profit for 2025 of £11.8m.

Last year Warwickshire took a controlling 51% stake in Birmingham Phoenix - valued at £48m - as part of the England and Wales Cricket Board's restructuring of The Hundred competition and supported the full professional integration of the Bears women's side.

Further investment was made into the ongoing redevelopment of the Raglan and Priory stands and the building of a hotel at Edgbaston, which is due for completion in 2027.

Alongside the £4.6m annual distribution payment from the ECB, cricketing revenue was boosted by £3m, helped by Edgbaston hosting the second Test match between England and India with catering, hospitality and other commercial income also up.

Income from matches in the men's and women's Hundred brought in £7.6m. The club's overall surplus after tax was just over £1m.

Warwickshire chief executive Stuart Cain said, external 2025 "has been one of the most important years in the club's recent history", adding "off the field we have successfully delivered growth across our core revenue streams, integrated Birmingham Phoenix into the Group, and made significant progress on the redevelopment of Edgbaston".

Cain said it was "critical" the club continued to balance "short‑term performance with long‑term planning" and was "confident" Warwickshire was becoming "a more resilient, diversified and ambitious club than ever before which will be able to compete in all formats of the game at the very highest level for many years to come".
