The Phillies have their first walk-off win since April!

Replacement batter Derek Hill is their hero with a groundball single to centre field to score JT Realmuto and win the game 7-6.

It was back and forth all afternoon but in the end the Phillies stick it out and pick up a hugely important win.

An immensely frustrating afternoon for the home team finishes in absolute delight.

The Blue Jays showed a lot themselves but that's a damaging defeat for their slim Wild Card hopes.

If you were hoping for an early night, think again!

The Phillies square it up at 6-6 with a single from Bryson Stott to score Luis Arraez from third.

Better still, they have two men on base and no outs. Can the home team finally get this done?

The Blue Jays take the lead for the first time.

Jesus Sanchez grounds into a double play but Nathan Lukes is able to score from third base to make it 6-5.

The Phillies will have to find something in this twelfth inning to avoid a clean sweep now.

Phillies fans will be wondering how their team have not won this game?

They have the bases loaded with one out in the eleventh inning and bring in Garrett Stubbs to run from third base for Kyle Schwarber.

Luis Arraez does his job with a fly ball to right fielder Nathan Lukes, but Stubbs isn't quick enough to make it home and is out at home plate as Alejandro Kirk tags him.

There is a challenge from the Phillies but it's unsuccesful. On we go into the twelfth.

Both teams get a man to third base in the tenth inning but neither can convert the situation into a winning run.

On we go into the eleventh.

Both teams miss chances to re-take the lead as the Phillies leave the bases loaded before Vladimir Guerrero Jr. plays into an inning-ending double play for the Blue Jays.

The Phillies can't get anything going at the bottom of the ninth so this one is going to extra innings.

Incredible from the Blue Jays as they rally from two outs and nobody on base to score three runs in the eighth inning.

After Alejandro Kirk and Kazuma Okamoto reach base with singles, Ernie Clement launches a fly ball to left field to score Kirk.

Andres Gimenez is the next batter up and he singles to right field to score Okamoto and Clement and make it 5-5.

It's not quite over yet Elliott, although defeat here for the Blue Jays certainly will not help.

You're right Gary, an incredible time to be a sports fan in Philadelphia.

The Phillies add another run and make it 5-2 at the bottom of the sixth inning.

Alec Bohm singles to centre field and Bryson Stott has more than enough pace to make his way home.

That is the end of the outing for Blue Jays starting pitcher Shane Bieber. Brendon Little is his replacement.

And it is an absolute monster.

His second of the day is up in the second tier of Citizens Bank Park, flying out to 448 feet and making it 4-2 to the Phillies.

That takes Schwarber to 35 home runs for the season.

No wonder he came second in the Home Run Derby last month. He can't stop hitting them!

More joy for the Blue Jays at the top of the fifth and they are now within one run.

Myles Straw's single gets him on base and he is able to make his way to third for just one out.

Brett Bateman then digs out a base hit to left field to bring home Straw and make it 3-2 to the Phillies.

As good a response as the Blue Jays could have hoped for as they get on the board at the top of the fourth.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. starts things off with a double before reaching third base on a wild pitch from Luzardo.

Alejandro Kirk then brings Guerrero Jr. home with a line drive to left field which bounces into the wall.

Kirk has a single and Guerrero Jr. scores to make it 3-1 to the Phillies.

It was the pitchers on top for much of the first three innings but Kyle Schwarber has just torn that apart!

The Phillies' main man launches a fly-ball over to left field and it's comfortably over the wall.

Alec Bohm and Justin Crawford score from first and second base and the Phillies take a 3-0 lead.

That "Schwar-bomb" takes him to 34 home runs for the season.

The Phillies are approaching 150 home runs for the season, with Kyle Schwarber very much in the race to be the lead home-run hitter across the leagues this season with 33.

Bryce Harper is of course another big hitter for the Phillies with 25 home runs to his name so far this season.

The Blue Jays have struggled for big hits but in Vladimir Guerrero Jr. they have a recognised slugger. He might not have delivered his usual numbers this season, but could his home run last night kick off a hitting streak?

Despite hitting the winning home run last night, Nathan Lukes is one of three changes from last night's Blue Jays line-up.

Lukes and Jesus Sanchez have been left out because the Phillies have opted for a left-handed pitcher, while Alejandro Kirk replaces Brandon Valenzuela as Catcher.

The Phillies make two changes as Bryan De La Cruz and Garrett Stubbs drop out for TJ Realmuto and Alec Bohm.

Jesus Luzardo starts on the mound for the Phillies with 164 strikeouts to his name so far this season - the sixth most in Major League Baseball.

The Toronto Blue Jays are in the City of Brotherly Love this weekend and are looking to reinvigorate their season against a Philadelphia Phillies team narrowly squeezing in to the post-season through the National League Wild Card as things stand.

The Blue Jays secured victory in both games of the series so far including an eleventh-inning win last night.

Temperatures are set to high 33 degrees Celsius in Philadelphia this afternoon - so very familiar weather to anyone watching in the UK this summer.
