Ans-T Crazy

This Is Africa

Available for over a year

Ans-T Crazy was once voted Guinea’s best dancer but, as he tells This Is Africa in this episode, he couldn’t make enough money to sustain himself through dance, so turned to music. Despite the lack of support and infrastructure in his country, Ans-T Crazy has made a success of it and has established his own label and management company. The ‘crazy’ in his name is a reference to the high energy performances he gives. His hits include Trois Fois, Avancer and Sèti, as well as La Guida, which is also the name he has given his own blend of Guinean musical elements and contemporary global and African music genres. In 2025 Ans-T Crazy made history when he became the first Guinean urban artist to perform, alongside Nigeria’s WizKid and Yemi Alade and Mali’s Salif Keïta, at Morocco’s prestigious Mawazine festival.
