Aiza was born in Canada to Burundian parents. She was named one of the breakthrough artists of 2023 by Canada’s public service broadcaster after she released her debut 10-track album, Sovereignty, which features bangers like Majimbo and Cocoa Butter. Her music has been featured on hit shows like Ginny and Georgia. She’s also an actor, starring in the Netflix series Jupiter’s Legacy, as well as creating with her sister the award-winning CBC talk show series Real Blackity Talk.
