I donated my eggs to a stranger on the train

Gini Bhogal was travelling on the London Underground when a casual conversation with a stranger took an unexpectedly personal turn. Standing together in a crowded carriage, the fellow passenger - a woman called Anita - opened up about her early menopause and fear of never having children. Within minutes, Gini made a remarkable offer: she would donate her eggs. It was a decision that bewildered her friends, worried her husband and remained hidden from her traditional Indian parents for decades. But the promise Gini made that day helped Anita realise a long-held dream, while creating an unexpected bond between their two families. Argentinian football enthusiast Osvaldo Santander has spent decades collecting memorabilia from the sport he loves, building a collection of nearly 6,000 items and turning his home into a museum of soccer memories. Together with his son Julián, he has travelled to World Cups around the world, often going to extraordinary lengths to secure tickets, souvenirs and keepsakes. Their quest has involved marathon journeys and an unlikely TV quiz show victory, secured with the help of a surprisingly important question about Shrek.
