Ukraine's former defence minister stands by his call for wartime elections

Weekend

Available for 29 days

Ukraine’s former defence minister, Mikhailo Fedorov, has stood by his call for wartime elections and reforms, but stopped short of declaring political ambitions of his own. We hear from the BBC's Ukraine correspondent Dan Johnson, who spoke to Mr Fedorov. The family of an Australian aid worker - Zomi Frankcom, who was killed by Israeli air strikes on a convoy in Gaza - is demanding an independent investigation to her death. Zomi's friend Dora Weekley speaks to the programme. Also on the programme: is it ever acceptable for people to have conversations on speakerphone or even play music out loud in public? One of Britain's biggest pub chains, Wetherspoons, has announced a ban on what is called 'loudcasting'. We hear Irene Mutuzo's perspective, a Digital Psychologist based in Uganda.
