Life in the Strait of Hormuz after ceasefire

Newsday

Available for 29 days

A fragile ceasefire between the US and Iran may be holding, but one of the world's most strategically important waterways remains under intense scrutiny. The BBC has gained exclusive access to southern Iran and the Strait of Hormuz. We report from Los Angeles where Switzerland has just knocked out another African team in the World Cup tournament. And in Venezuela the interim President, Delcy Rodriguez, says almost every official in La Guaira state at the epicentre of last week's powerful twin earthquakes died in the event. We speak to Save the Children in the country. Presenters: James Copnall and Anne Soy. (Photo:Cargo ships are waiting for permission to pass through the Hormuz Strait. Credit: Jack Garland/BBC).
