Uneasy calm returns to Strait of Hormuz

Newsday

Available for 29 days

A fragile ceasefire between the US and Iran may be holding, but one of the world's most strategically important waterways remains under intense scrutiny. Control over shipping though the Strait of Hormuz has proven to be Iran’s key bargaining chip to end the strikes and bring the US to the negotiating table. The BBC has travelled to the southern Iranian port of Bandar Abbas and reports from the strait itself, to see how Iranians at the heart of the crisis are living through an uncertain peace. We report from an Algerian watch party in the US as the country plays Switzerland in the World Cup tournament. And we look at what life at forty looks like in a World Cup tournament with Cameroon's Roger Milla, the oldest goalscorer ever at a World Cup in 1994. Presenters: James Copnall and Anne Soy.
