Second day of talks for Trump and Xi

Newsday

Available for 29 days

The US President Donald Trump and President Xi Jinping of China meet again for a final round of talks in Beijing. President Trump told Fox news that he had pushed for China to buy more products from American farms and that Xi had told him that Beijing would refuse to provide Tehran with any military equipment while the US is at war with Iran. A federal jury in Chicago has ordered Boeing to pay nearly $50 million to the family of a young woman who was killed when a Boeing 737 Max jet crashed in Ethiopia in 2019. We speak to her mother. And we look at the relics, looted by British soldiers more than 150 years ago, being returned to Ethiopia. Presenters: James Copnall and Anne Soy.
