Need To Know Sussex

Available for over a year

Eight weeks on from a train derailment near Lewes, the BBC has learned a number of passengers are taking legal action against Southern Rail. Greater Thameslink Railway told us following the incident all the passengers on board the affected train, who they had details for, were contacted by CEO John Whitehurst and were offered further ongoing support and advice. A dedicated helpline was also opened and passenger Rob Bradley was offered additional professional trauma support for both him and his daughter in August. Photo: BBC/Jack Valpy
