Wild West Midlands

Upload with Nina Das Gupta

Available for over a year

Move over Michaela Strachan, say cheerio to Chris Packham and sayonara Steve Backshall, because there are some new names in town. Bromsgrove's Adam O'Hare, a Brummie, has been making wildlife videos touring the country for the past decade. He founded the Friends of Catshill Wildlife group and is an ambassador for the UK Wild Otter Trust. He's teamed up with his mate, qualified zoologist and herpetologist Ryan Eddowes from Wolverhampton, who’s received handwritten letters from Sir David, no less. They’ve created a new online video series to prove that the big cities on our doorsteps aren't just full of urban jungle - but that there is flora and fauna abundant and to savour! Adam and Ryan have been sharing with BBC Upload’s Nina Das Gupta through their nature-hugging and content-creating credentials, and why there really is so much to offer in the West Midlands.
