From Worcester, the England back-rower and Six Nations winner says she almost ended up playing netball, but has found her home on the hallowed turf of Twickenham. Haineala made her debut in front of a then-record crowd of 77,120 at the Allianz Stadium in Twickenham. She scored her first try in only her second game. She says she was nervous before her She tells Malcolm Boyden how she owes her career to many hours honing her craft at the Royal Grammar School and Worcester Rugby Club, alongside thanking her her parents - her father is legendary Worcester Warriors player Alexei Lutui - for inspiring her.
