Row over Lutterworth School jumper ban

Available for over a year

Parents have criticised Lutterworth High School for banning jumpers until October and putting pupils who wear them into isolation. The mixed secondary school says school jumpers must be left at home - despite the recent wet mornings and chilly temperatures as low as 4 degrees. In an email newsletter sent out to parents headteacher Julian Kirby highlighted the jumpers are only to be worn in the winter months. Sarah Fielemar's daughter Phoebe attends the school and has been put in isolation for not taking her jumper off at school. Sarah told BBC Leicester's Ady Dayman that she's really angry about it. We have contacted Lutterworth High School who do not wish to comment.
