'Meningitis killed our teenage son in days'
Available for over a year
The family of a Liverpool John Moores University student who died of meningitis in January are warning other parents to be vigilant. Their warning comes following a meningitis outbreak in Kent, where two young people have died and another 11 university students are seriously ill in hospital. Aaron Mills had only just started his sports science degree at Liverpool John Moores University when he fell ill while he was back home in Kidderminster after Christmas. He did have a meningitis vaccine when he was younger, but it didn't protect him from strain B, which is what he died of. Our political reporter Tom Edwards spoke to his mum Denise and dad Anthony.
