Nominations are open for the BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards for 2026. We want to hear who makes a difference where you live and improves the lives of others. The Space Youth Project in Poole were finalists in the Community Group category in the BBC Radio Solent Make a Difference Awards for 2025. The group offers support to LGBT+ young people in Dorset through youth groups and one to one support services. Nominations are open now and close on the 31st March at 5pm. The winners will be announced at our Make a Difference awards ceremony in September.
