How London's Homelessness Museum finally found a home
Available for over a year
The Museum of Homelessness at Finsbury Park's Manor House isn't your traditional museum - it's an interactive and immersive show, run mainly by people with personal experience of homelessness. The project has been years in the making - for almost a decade in fact. And until now, it's been operating as a peripatetic setup — exhibitions springing up in spots like the tunnels beneath Waterloo station, Tate Modern and even Manchester Art Gallery. But as of 24 May 2024, though — thanks to a 10-year lease — the Museum of Homelessness will open its doors at Finsbury Park's Manor House Lodge — an old gatekeeper's cottage.
