Plans for a permanent Covid memorial in Loughborough's Queens Park, 'the Hope Bell', have been revealed. It's part of the wider 'lanes and links' project costing over half a million pounds is being spent on to improve pedestrian access to the park. It's supported by government cash through the Loughborough Town Deal and work on the Hope Bell memorial is set to start in 2023.
