Swimmers cross Rutland Water

Once a year, Rutland Water, allows open water swimmers to cross England's largest reservoir. A group of brave swimmers take the plunge to complete the 2km challenge, crossing the water. You take the Rutland Belle boat from Whitwell to Normanton and swim back. Helen McCarthy was one of those taking part.
