Sing for a King...

Jonathan Lampon

Available for over a year

The discovery and identification of the bones of King Richard III here in Leicester has set into motion a year of preparation as the city prepares for the reinterment of his body at Leicester Cathedral next spring. As part of those plans, school children in Leicester are being offered the opportunity to Sing for a King. Each year Leicester Cathedral looks to recruit new singers to be part of its choir, and this year's choristers will be singing at the special ceremony to mark King Richard's reburial. BBC Radio Leicesters Kristina Hrywnak went along to the Cathedral to find out more.
